Learning Resources Hub (LRH) is the schools library service for Wiltshire and Swindon.

LRH is a strategic partner in delivering high‑quality education and improving outcomes for all learners. 

LRH provides schools with access to a wide range of curriculum-linked books, artefacts, equipment, immersive environments and specialist learning resources.  

Membership enables schools to enrich teaching and learning, improve engagement and provide experiences that would often be difficult or expensive to deliver independently.

Resources and collections available include:

Book collections and reading resources - LRH collections help schools build strong reading cultures, boost attainment and support diverse learner needs.

  • Scientific enquiry equipment (data loggers, pocket microscopes, underwater pond cameras, circulatory system)

  • Early Years imaginative play collections (for example construction site, puppets, pirate shack, knights and dragons)

  • Health and wellbeing resources (human torso, ear model, recycling kit)

  • Diversity, culture and RE collections (Judaism, Islam, African masks, Chinese New Year)

  • Historical artefacts (Victorian, Roman, Tudor, evacuee suitcase, medieval resources, Stephenson’s Rocket)

WOW! Immersive Environments - These themed collections transform learning spaces and help immerse children in their learning. Collections include Space, Under the Sea, Winter Wonderland, Rainforests, Dinosaurs, Myths & Legends, Fairy/Traditional Tales and Woodland. We also have WOW! Collections to support computing and control in the STAR WARS Droids collection and the Coding with Dash collection.
