Membership is open to all primary, special and independent schools in Wiltshire, Swindon and the surrounding area. 

Home educating families, childrens centres, nurseries and pre-schools are also welcome.

MultiMedia Collections

Aimed to capture the interest of pupils throughout Key stages 1 and 2, these collections are filled with books, puppets, soft toys, interactive whiteboard activities, CDs of sound effects, music and songs, DVDs of film clips and full length films and TV programmes, teacher notes, photos and more. Collections include, Super Heroes, Explorers, Dinosaur Hunters, The Gruffalo, Rainforests, Safari, Chocolate, World War 1, Dragons, Early People, Mary Anning, and six different MFL French collections.

Book Collections

Fiction, non-fiction, poetry, topic and themed collections, e-books, online books, special collections (for example reluctant reader, graphic fiction and books for boys), guided reading sets, picture books, play sets, listening books, animated books and dual language books.

Visual Resource Collections

Artefacts, models, specimens, equipment, a wealth of topic and themed collections for literacy, numeracy, history, geography, role play and early years as well as framed pictures and art reproductions.  Visual resource collections include original and replica items, IT equipment and some items are specially made/commissioned for us.  Most of the visual resource collections can be handled by pupils.

Audio-Visual Resources

CDROMs, feature films, educational series and TV programmes, film clips, sound effects, and historic speeches. Audio Visual items also include curriculum themed boxed sets and augmented reality resources. We also stream much of our content direct to you via Vimeo.

LRH eBook Platform   

A centrally held catalogue of eBooks purchased to support reading for pleasure at KS2 (and some upper KS1 pupils).

The LRH eBook Platform platform settings options support pupils who are visually impaired and it is dyslexia friendly too.  There is also the Immersive Reader function, which allows for titles to be read out loud and translated into over 150 languages - contact us for more information.
