Notes: A strong wind blows flower seeds high in the air and carries them far across the land. One of the seeds is smaller than any of the others. It cannot fly as high as the others. It cannot fly as fast as the others. When the wind drops all the seeds fall to the ground. Birds eat the seeds but the tiny seed is too small to be eaten. In the spring the tiny seed begins to grow into a plant. It grows and grows and in the summer turns into a giant flower. Then in the autumn it too sheds it seeds and the whole cycle begins again.
