Rivers provides resources to support the geography curriculum for 7-11 year olds. The CD-ROM is divided into 6 topics, each with a number of subtopics.

Video footage of up to 4 minutes in length features aerial footage of a range of river features. These features include natural as well as man-made phenomena.

A collection of still images focuses on details of various river features.

An extensive glossary explaining the meanings of geographical terms and difficult vocabulary, as well as providing information about specific places.
Rivers is designed to be a flexible resource supporting a variety of teaching and learning styles and settings. It can be used for whole class lessons, by small groups and by individual students.
