Chinese New Year

Episode 1 - Getting ready

This episode covers the preparations for Chinese New Year and ends with a big celebratory meal for family and friends. The children work on their own throughout this programme.

Episode 2 - Join the New Year parade

This programme is concerned with the festivities once Chinese New Year has begun…in particular the custom of letting off firecrackers and also Lion Dance processions. The children work on their own for the beginning of the programme, then get into pairs to create the Lion Dance.
