It really will be Christmas every day as the Robshaw family time-travel through six decades of Christmas nostalgia.
Episode 1 - The Robshaw family return to sample festive fare through the decases. Beginning in the 1940s they embrace the "make do and mend" spirit for presents as they sit down to a repast of unrationed ox heart and Christmas pudding made primarily of grated potato. The 1950s usher in the delights of ham with tinned peaches, canapes, cocktails and the first televised Queen's speech, which Fred's 1960s gift of a chocolate smoking set, unthinkable nowadays, would hardly raise an eyebrow back in the day.
Episode 2 - The Robshaw family continue their journey into Christmas past as they revisit the 1970s, 80s and 90s for a dose of seasonal nostalgia. They discover how the race for a festive number-one single was born and meet an Eastenders star who reminisces about the soap's tradition for seasonal misery. Finally, they get a taste of 90s consumerism, the era when Christmas gluttony started with breakfast and continued all day.
