Box size: 44 x 52 x 31 cm
Notes: We have created these multi-media resource collections to help you raise standards in reading and writing and to engage all your pupils, especially those more reluctant ones! There are 20 books (including Where the Wild Things Are and The Gruffalo, plus picture books, short novels, poetry and even a book about how to make Moving Monsters). There are also puppets, soft toys, a sound effects CD, a Movie Monsters clip disc, full length films and Interactive Whiteboard activities and games. The books are suitable for use in Reception and Key Stages 1 and 2, with some being read by the teacher and some by individual pupils. The film clips are short, appropriate extracts from films such as Shrek and The Grinch alongside full length film titles such as The Gruffalo and Monsters Inc. A whiteboard activity allows children to assemble and design their own special monster (with sound effects), and the puppets and soft toys allow pupils to re-enact the stories or create their own in fact there are endless possibilities.
